Rayzza Rubí Eras Delgado, ciudadana transexual femenina e integrante de la Fundación de Silueta X de Guayaquil, presentó una denuncia ante la Defensoría del Pueblo porque no se le permitió utilizar los baños del Registro Civil.

La queja, presentada ante María José Fernández, delegada de la Defensoría del Pueblo del Guayas, decía que el martes 24 de julio, Eras Delgado acudió a la dependencia pública junto con una compañera (también transexual femenina).

La mujer aseguró que durante el trámite observaron que los agentes de seguridad se burlaron frecuentemente de ellas. Sin embargo, los ignoraron.

Una vez que concluyeron su diligencia, se fueron al baño de mujeres. La señora de la limpieza (no mencionó su nombre) les dijo que no podían usar el retrete y que tenían que ir al baño de hombres.

Tras un cruce de palabras, el personal de seguridad las obligó a salir de los servicios higiénicos, a pesar de que Eras Delgado les indicó que las leyes las amparaban.

“No me permitieron usar el baño público femenino del Registro Civil. Me obligaron a utilizar el baño de hombres por  ser transexual.

El estrés, la vergüenza y el daño emocional, moral y psicológico sufrido durante este acontecimiento lo vivimos todos los días en cualquier parte”, señala la denuncia.
