Asociación Silueta X presentó documental sobre problemática 

“Trans” buscan inclusión para dejar trabajo sexual

Se pretende erradicar el discrimen desde 4 enfoques: Familia, Educación, Trabajo y Contexto Social.

Un trabajo de  seis meses de investigación, más  tres de edición,  que incluyó una estadística  en base a una muestra aleatoria, dio como resultado el documental  Riesgos de las “Trans” trabajadoras sexuales en Guayaquil, que se presento el pasado viernes en un cine foro en el Museo Antropológico y Are Contemporáneo (MAAC).

El trabajo  fue elaborado por la presidenta de la Asociación Silueta X, Diane Rodríguez, con el apoyo de la HIV Youngs Leaders Foundation (HYLF) de estados Unidos  y la tutoría  del profesor de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad de Guayaquil, Ivo Orellana.

El documental  mostró  testimonios de las “Trans” que ofrecen servicios sexuales, tanto en las calles como a través  del Internet y los riesgos a los que se someten.

Relatos como el de “Lorena”, una “trans”  que aseguró  que el mayor obstáculo  es la discriminación que sufren, en muchos casos sus mismas familias y en el ámbito laboral, lo que les impide optar por otras formas de trabajo.

“En las empresas no ven los estudios que hemos realizado, sino la apariencia que tenemos nos  consideran una mala imagen”, expreso “Lorena” en el documental.

En el video se incluyeron cifras basadas en testimonio de las transexuales entrevistadas, a quienes  se les pregunto sobe como s identifican, su estado afectivo, edad, ocupación, qué  les impulsó al trabajo sexual, qué tipos de problemas afrontan al ejercer esta actividad, entre otras preguntas.

Luego se abrió un foro en el que se analizaron aspectos como la necesidad de visibilizar los problemas de esta población la necesidad de iniciar un cambio basado en el respeto a sí mismas y proyectarlo a la sociedad.

ESTADISTICA

Se registraron algunos resultados, entre los cuales  se destacan:

Del 100% de la muestra, el 37, 10% de “trans” entrevistados tiene de 20  a 23  años; el 33,87% de 24 q 27%,  y lo que llama ala atención es que un 9,68% tiene edades entre los 16 y 19 años.

El 59, 68 son trabajadoras sexuales; el 25, 81% tienen negocio propio; el 11,29% cuenta con empleo y el 3,23 vive en promiscuidad.

Otras cifras revelan que el 50 se dedica a esta actividad tras ser expulsadas de sus hogares; el 37,10% lo hace debido  a la situación de pobreza; el 7,06% porque piensa realizarse como “trans” y el 4,84% porque  quiere ser la mejor transexual.

Sobre el porqué continúan con esta actividad, el 70,97%alega que no le dan oportunidades de otro empleo; el 20,97% por que el dinero es tapido; el 4,84 por que  es presionada por un proxeneta; y el 3,23% por ayudar  a la familia.

PRIMER PASO

Para Isaías Álvarez, de la fundación Diverso Ecuador, estos eventos  permitirán trabajar en un camino difícil, pero que creará un escenario que logre la garantía de sus derechos como lo establece la Constitución. “Esta es una forma  de romper paredes y recordar a la sociedad que existen normas que nos permiten construir un ambiente para todos”, sostuvo.

El activista Gonzalo Abarca considero que el documental tocó un tema que se conoce pero no se lo visualiza  y cree que este sea el inicio de otras  actividades a favor de esta comunidad que fue vulnerada en sus derechos y que tengan la oportunidad de insertarse laboralmente.

Sobre el documental, Diane Rodríguez comento que la investigación se realizo el año pasado con entrevistas a transexuales  de 16 a 29 años  y el aporte de estudiantes de la Facultad de Comunicación social de la Universidad de Guayaquil, quienes  efectuaron la investigación de campo.

“La investigación duró cerca de seis meses y la edición del documental tres meses más, se incluyeron datos estadísticos, con la tutoría de Ivo Orellana, docente de la Facultad de Psicología” dijo la presidenta de Silueta X.

De allí que en las conclusiones se instó a que los gobiernos centrales y seccionales realicen una campaña de concienciación sobre la temática Transgénero y transexual, con cuatro ejes: familia, educación, trabajo y contexto social, para lograr la inclusión.

Además se solicita  que la policía Nacional  y Metropolitana cree programas de sensibilización para sus funcionarios, para evitar el índice de violencia que existe desde el marco de seguridad social hacia las transexuales.

Rodríguez  formulo un llamado al Ministerio de Salud Pública para capacitar a su personal para una buena atención a este grupo vulnerable y la promoción de una ley que exija la inclusión de Transgéneros y transexuales por cada cien empleados (Víctor Haz).

«Trans» seek to leave sex work including

The aim is to eradicate discrimination from 4 approaches: Family, Education, Labor and Social Context.
