En la carta abierta del 1ero de Agosto del presente  año, la comunidad GLBTI manifestó, con razón, su molestia por las expresiones vertidas durant el enlace sabatino del 28 de Julio del 2012, cuando mereferí al comentario procaz de un enajenado, que fue irresponsablemente publicado en la pagina del Diario el Comerico, entidad que posteriormente expresó sus disculpas por este hecho.

Estimados compañeros, la indignación es inevitble en quienes nos revelamos ante las injusticias y rechazamos las actitudes cobardes. Se trata de un sentimiento humano, sin embargo, cuando esta revestido de molestia puede expresarse sin suficiente precisión.

Tengan la seguridad que mi animo nunca fue faltar al respeto o menospreciar a nadie, menos a personas para quienes guardo toda consideración, pues valoro su lucha en contra de la discriminación y su ejemplo de valentía.

La comunidad GLBTI conoce que el gobierno de la Revolución Ciudadana es el que con mayor énfasis ha impulsado políticas públicas y normas jurídicas para garantizar los derechos y enfrentar la exclusión en todas sus formas, particularmente con al comunidad que ustedes representan. Les reiteramos nuestro compromiso inquebrantable y nuestro apoyo permanente para erradicar tanto las acciones como las palabras que contengan cualquier rezago deviolencia y discriminación, que representan rémoras en esta sociedad.

Reciban mis sinceras disculpas. Trataré en el futuro de ser mas cuidadoso para evitar expresiones que de ninguna manera reflejan nuestras convicciones.
