¡A celebrar el Día del Orgullo Gay con “todos los juguetes”!
Varias organizaciones se esmeran para dar un buen show al público durante el desfile que se realizará el sábado. Habrá carros alegóricos, militares sexys, garotas y ángeles.
Los trajes que llevarán las chicas trans son muy coloridos. Ellas los eligieron de los tantos que les ofrecieron para la ocasión.
La comunidad de Gays, Lesbianas, Transexuales, Bisexuales e Intersexuales (Glbti) está lista para el gran desfile que se realizará el sábado por el Día del Orgullo Gay que se celebra el 28 de junio.
Los preparativos cuentan con el respaldo de varios propietarios de bares y discotecas de la zona rosa, donde se llevará a cabo el show con la participación de talentos de la organización. La concentración será desde las 14:00 la calle Olmedo y Malecón.
“Es la primera vez que la Asociación Lésbica Mujer y Mujer organiza un evento a la altura, contamos con un carro alegórico para hacernos visibles ante la población”, señaló Lía Burbano, presidenta de la comunidad lésbica.
Explicó que antes solo desfilaban en camisetas y pantalones, pero ahora decidieron llamar la atención con trajes de guerreras, por lo que creen que la jornada será un éxito total.
“Hemos planificado un concurso de la mejor vestida como guerrera, con máscaras, sin máscaras, botas, espadas y trajes. La idea es dejar en claro que nuestra lucha por los derechos ha sido dura, pero no vana. El desfile es como el plato fuerte, es la meta de todos los trabajos que hemos realizado en cuanto a la visibilización de la comunidad ante la sociedad”, aseveró.
Burbano añadió que el concurso será promocionado en las redes sociales y que “hemos recibido respuestas de muchas chicas que participarán”.
Reveló que el carro alegórico fue adecuado con un escenario de la isla de Lesbos, en el que irán personajes de la pantalla como Érika Vélez, Silvia Buendía, Mercedes Pacheco, entre otras, quienes representarán a mujeres de la mitología griega como Afrodita, Safo y sus discípulas, entre otras más. La idea es que estas famosas vayan en los carros alegóricos es motivar a las chicas lésbicas a que también lo hagan. “Ese es el reto”.
DAMOS LOS ÚLTIMOS TOQUES
Fernando Pineda, presidente de la Fundación Diverso Ecuador, quien se define como un hombre gay, señaló que la organización que representa trabaja en la promoción y defensa de los derechos humanos de la comunidad Glbti de Ecuador.
“Estamos preparados con diez carros para el gran desfile, en estos momentos solo confirmamos la asistencia de las autoridades y damos los últimos toques a los transportes. Al menos diez organizaciones participarán. Este año nos hemos juntado con los grupos indígenas, montubios y afros. Pero nuestro bloque saldrá al final”, indicó Pineda.
Durante el show participarán talentos Glbti del Ecuador. “Los años anteriores dimos cabida a los artistas nacionales, pero ahora le toca a los nuestros”, expresó.
“Con este desfile queremos hacer incidencia política, hacer presencia viva para demostrar a la sociedad que somos parte de ella y que no debemos estar fuera. Somos nosotros los gestores para que la normativa que está plasmada en la Constitución se ejecute. Este es el sexto desfile que realiza la comunidad Glbti, en los tres últimos años ha sido Diverso Ecuador, la que ha tomado la batuta”, indicó el activista gay.
“El desfile será muy colorido, también contaremos con el carro de la Prefectura en el que irá la reina de la provincia del Guayas”, indicó.
Héroes del comic
Tito Esparza y Gino Romero, coordinadores del proyecto fundación ecuatoriana Equidad, ubicada en Quisquís, entre Antepara y García Moreno, comentaron que participarán con carros alegóricos y con la representación de los superhéroes de la pantalla chica y del cine, entre estos la Mujer Maravilla, Superman, Robin y otros más.
“Este desfile debe enseñarnos a marcar de una vez por todas a que la sociedad entienda que este evento es el desfile del Orgullo Gay.
Para que esto sea algo muy grande nos hemos unido varias organizaciones. El triunfo no le pertenece a una sola (organización), sino al conjunto de todos y con el apoyo de varios bares y discotecas”, expresó Diane Rodríguez, de Silueta X.
Reveló que el grupo trans tiene preparado un buen número: “unas chicas saldrán vestidas de garotas, otras como militares sexys y ángeles negros”.
“Organizar un desfile como este se requiere de mucho dinero, hay que comprar los trajes, pelucas, plumas, pero por suerte “hemos recibido el apoyo de empresas, como de Pelucas y Postizos, que nos facilitaron la ropa y el carro alegórico para el evento”, dijo la representante trans.
“No estoy de acuerdo en salir casi desnudas en el desfile, porque no estamos en Brasil. Creo que iré en patines para dispersarme por todos lados”, concluyó Rodríguez.
La actriz Rudy Arana es la reina de la comunidad Glbti, ella irá en uno de los vistosos carros. Al acto han sido invitadas varias autoridades nacionales.

Fernando Pineda, president of the Foundation Miscellaneous Ecuador, who describes himself as a gay man, said his organization works to promote and defend human rights of LGBTI community in Ecuador.
