Una trans cautivó a una chica, con quien procreó una hija a la que ama

“Una mujer se enamoró de mí”

“La vida te da sorpresas, sorpresas te da la vida”, dice el coro de Pedro Navaja, una canción del panameño Rubén Blades, que Karicia, una guapa trans femenina, de 32 años, tararea mientras cuenta su historia.

Nunca pensó tener una hija con una mujer que se enamoró de ella. Las dos terminaron envueltas en sábanas sin imaginar que más tarde llegaría una hermosa niña. Hoy la pequeña tiene 8 años.

“Estaba en un bar tomándome unas copas, luego llegó ella y me dijo que le gustaba,  me besó. Me quedé con la boca abierta”, contó mientras se acariciaba el cabello negro azabache.

“Pasaron los días y volvimos a encontrarnos hasta que pasó lo inevitable. Fuimos a parar a la casa de una amiga. Cuando me levanté me di cuenta que había estado con ella”, explicó Karicia.

“Ella se enamoró de mí, recuerdo que le dije que estaba equivocada, pero las cosas pasaron hasta que salió embarazada”, manifestó.

Al enterarse de esta noticia, el impacto fue grande al pensar en los comentarios de la gente. No es normal que una trans tenga un hijo. “Me deprimí y encerré en mi casa, luego me fui a vivir a Vinces.  Allí conocí a un gay declarado que no era trans, que tenía mujer y siete hijos. Este caso me ayudó un poco a superar mi trauma y decidí enfrentarlo.

Cuando nació mi nena me quedé con la boca abierta. Mi madre y hermanos estaban encantados. Inscribí con mucho amor a mi hija, por esta razón no he hecho el cambio de nombres en el Registro Civil, porque dejaría de figurar como su padre”, indicó.

“Tengo un gabinete de belleza  que me permite darle lo que me pide. Trato de que no le falte nada. La madre y la abuela son quienes se encargan de alistarla para la escuela, yo la llevo en mi  moto”, señala la trans.

Con la madre de su hija, Karicia tiene una buena relación de amistad, por el bienestar de la niña. “Ella me ha confesado no ser lesbiana, pues no sé por qué razón se fijó en mí”, se pregunta.

Karicia cree que con el nacimiento de su nena su forma de pensar cambió. “Asenté cabeza, puse mi propio negocio. Además, anhelo tener una cadena de gabinetes, una casa y un carro para cuando muera dejarle algo a la niña. El motor que me mueve es mi hija. Cuando me abraza y me dice papi, te quiero, me miro en el espejo y me pregunto por qué me dice así, si aparento ser una mujer, pero, a pesar de todo, me siento padre”, afirma.

LA VIDA 
Karicia es la cuarta de nueve hermanos. Perdió a su padre a los siete años. Solo tiene una hermana que es su paño de lágrimas. “Me ponía la ropa de ella cuando empecé a travestirme”.

Desde los ocho años tenía admiradores en la escuela. “Toda la vida quise ser mujer y a los 17 le dije la verdad a mi madre y para eso me travestí. Ella se rió y solo me pidió que trabajara. Pero mis hermanos fueron los que no estuvieron de acuerdo, me dijeron que era la vergüenza de la casa, pero ahora las cosas cambiaron”, señaló.

APOYO DEL GREMIO GLBTI

Dianne Rodríguez, presidenta de Silueta X, piensa que Karicia es una trans muy valiente para contar su experiencia.

Explica que cuando una trans atraviesa por una situación como esta podría quedar desacreditada como mujer y en muchos de los casos expuesta a las burlas de sus  compañeras. “Sé que si nos sentimos mujeres no podemos hacer uso de nuestro cuerpo hasta que estemos operadas o cambiadas de sexo. Eso es lo que dice nuestra cultura, aunque en otras partes del mundo no es así”.

“A lo mejor la chica se enamoró de Karicia por su aspecto genital. Quizás quiso experimentar algo diferente. Las personas saben  que, a pesar de que nosotras nos vemos como mujeres, conservamos los órganos genitales. Tal vez esa experiencia fue la que pasó por la cabeza de aquella muchacha”, sostiene.
